Purpose: This report proposes a change to the appointment of a Cabinet Member.

Content: This report proposes a change to the appointment of a Cabinet Member. The Leader of the County Council approved the appointment of County Councillor Tom Pickup as Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care in place of County Councillor Graham Dalton.   This decision be implemented immediately for the purposes of Standing Order C28(3) as any delay could adversely affect the execution of the County Council's responsibilities.  The reason for this was to ensure the appointment was made as soon as possible.
