Purpose: To approve the payment of advance compensation pursuant to Section 52 of the Land Compensation Act 1973 (as amended), in respect of 5 Cookson Street, Blackpool (the “Property”).
Content: To approve the payment of advance compensation pursuant to Section 52 of the Land Compensation Act 1973 (as amended), in respect of 5 Cookson Street, Blackpool (the “Property”). To proceed with the advanced payment as set out in Appendix A – Estimated Claim Summary (Restricted) and authorise the Head of Legal Services to enter into any legal documentation relating to the advance payment of compensation in respect of the Property. This follows on from the vesting of the Property with the Council on 26th July 2021, after confirmation of the Blackpool Borough Council (King Street No1) Compulsory Purchase Order 2020, approved on 27th January 2021.
