Purpose: The Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (LEVI) Fund is a Government funded programme to deliver electric vehicle (EV) charging facilities for residents that do not have access to offstreet parking. To enable an effective approach to the market, three LEVI consortiums have been established in the Midlands, each led by a designated Local Transport Authority. Lincolnshire leads the “Third” authority which comprises Herefordshire County Council, Stoke-on-Trent City Council and Telford and Wrekin Council. LCC is the lead for the procurement exercise only. Each individual consortium member will execute and manage their own contracts. The contract length is 15 years, with the possibility of an extension of a maximum of one year. The procurement exercise for the project commenced in midNovember 2025 and was delivered through an open tender process, structured into two lots based on technology type. The outcomes of procurement exercise can be found in the following tables.
