Purpose: Applications for the eighteenth funding round have been received and recommendations have been made by the Bath Neighbourhood CIL Advisory Board to the Leader of the Council. The funding allocation in this round is £270,260.

Content: Applications for the eighteenth funding round have been received and recommendations have been made by the Bath Neighbourhood CIL Advisory Board to the Leader of the Council. The funding allocation in this round is £270,260. The Cabinet Member agrees that:   ·  the funding allocation of the Bath Neighbourhood CIL is allocated to eight projects listed below totalling £270,260   ·  Football Cage Installation at Royal Victoria Park - £45,000 ·  Jewish Burial Ground Bath - Boundary Wall Restoration -£17,740 ·  Lambridge Pedestrian Safety Enhancements - £95,000 ·  Moorland Road Community Library - £13,500 ·  Newbridge Park - £7,000 ·  Riverside Youth Hub Renovation - £51,520 ·  Sensory Garden for Special Educational Needs Students at Oldfield Secondary School - £21,000 ·  WatermyPlot  Project  (Year  2),  aimed  at  improving allotments in Bath - £19,500   The Capital Programme is amended as follows:   ·  Increase approved Bath Neighbourhood CIL Programme - £130,260 (This amount represents the funding grants allocated to external organisations outside B&NES Council).   ·  Increase Local Active Travel Safety Programme - £95,000 (This relates to the funding that will be allocated to the B&NES Highways department for new road crossing improvements).   ·  Increase Parks Capital Improvement Programme - £45,000 (This relates to the funding that is allocated to the B&NES Council Parks department for the football cage located in Royal Victoria Park).   ·  Amend provisional Bath Neighbourhood CIL programme – £130,452 (This relates to the funds that are still available for distribution in upcoming funding cycles of Bath Neighbourhood CIL). As there is no parish council for Bath, the neighbourhood portion of the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) in the city is managed by Bath & North East Somerset Council.   Applications have been assessed against the eligibility criteria for the fund, views sought from the public and the Bath Neighbourhood CIL Advisory Board has considered all the information.  Recommendations have been made to the Leader to fund eight projects within this round of funding. There are no other options available for processing funding requests for Bath Neighbourhood CIL. None
