Content: Nominations were sought for the Leader of the Metropolitan Borough of Gateshead.   Councillor S Campion seconded by Councillor F Pearce, moved that Councillor N Allan be appointed as Leader.   The proposed nomination was put to a vote.   COUNCIL RESOLVED:   (i)            Councillor N Allan be elected Leader of the Metropolitan Borough of Gateshead for a period of four years.
