Content: The report proposes capital expenditure over £1m.             The Cabinet considered the report of the Executive Director (Resources and Partnerships), which explained how the Council’s capital resources were spent during 2025/26.   Councillor Mrs J Lonergan, Cabinet Member for Resources, reported that the Capital Programme in 2025/26 invested in a wide range of schemes including improvements to highways across the Borough, disabled facilities and adaptations to residents’ properties, new mainstream and special school places and improvements to highways and Town Centres. In this respect, Councillor Lonergan indicated that the final level of Capital Programme expenditure for 2025/26 had been £47.380m.    Councillor Lonergan indicated that the Council’s total Capital Programme for the next three years had been £77.110m, of which £66.373m is scheduled to be spent in 2026/27 and demonstrated the Council’s continued commitment to investing in the future of the Borough.    RESOLVED – That:-   (a)            the final outturn position for the 2025/26 Capital Programme as set out in section 4 of this report be agreed;   (b)            the new three-year Capital Programme of £77.110m in total as set out in paragraph 4.6 of this report be approved; and,   (c)            the treasury management prudential indicators as presented in section 6 of this report be noted.
