Purpose: A report in response to the proposed SEND Reforms and in particular the SEND Local Reform Plan guidance

Content: Resolved   That Cabinet   1.     Agrees the strategic direction for the local SEND system as set out in the report; and   2.     Authorises the Executive Director for Children and Young People to finalise and submit the final Local SEND Reform Plan to the Department for Education (DfE) in consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Children & Families, Education and SEND and in line with Government guidance and required timeframes.
