Content: RESOLVED that   1.       the pathway to securing a Foundation Strategic Authority for Surrey ahead of 1 April 2027 be noted; and   2.       it be noted that the Leader of the Council, in consultation with the Interim Head of Paid Service, Senior Responsible Officer, and the Leader of West Surrey Shadow Authority, shall exercise his authority to consider and approve a devolution proposal and consultation process on establishing a Foundation Strategic Authority in Surrey, and to consent to the submission of a devolution proposal and consultation results to Government in September 2026.
