Purpose: Approval to establish a variation of the agreement between the Council and CareUK confirming that the 21 beds at Farm Lane designated originally for NHS patients become designated to the Local Authority.

Content: 1.     To agree that Appendix 1 is not for publication on the basis that it contains information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the authority holding that information) as set out in paragraph 3 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended).   2.     To approve a contract variation to transfer the 21 beds from the NHS block element of the contract to the Local Authority with effect from on or around 1 October 2026 to 31 May 2031.   3.     To approve a contract variation to reflect the change of designation for the 21 beds to Nursing General and Nursing Dementia with effect from 1 April 2026.
