Purpose: To approve the Crisis and Resilience Fund East Sussex Delivery Plan prior to submission to the Department for Work and Pensions by 1July 2026.  This Delivery Plan includes planned support and services to adults, households with pensioners and households with disabled people.

Content: To approve the Crisis and Resilience Fund East Sussex Delivery Plan prior to submission to the Department for Work and Pensions by 1July 2026.  This Delivery Plan includes planned support and services to adults, households with pensioners and households with disabled people. 5.1       The Lead Member considered a report by the Director of Adult Social Care and Health.   DECISIONS   5.2       The Lead Member RESOLVED to:   1) Note the background to Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF) and the progress made since March 2026 in mobilising the scheme; and   2)  Approve the East Sussex CRF Delivery Plan for submission to the Department for Work and Pensions.   REASON   5.3       Since March 2026, substantial progress has been made to mobilise the Crisis and Resilience Fund in East Sussex. The proposed Delivery Plan reflects the initially agreed approach and framework, meets the Department for Work and Pensions requirements and provides a clear, deliverable model for supporting residents in financial hardship and builds financial resilience.
