Purpose: This report covers a range of decisions required to complete construction of the Civic Campus Project.

Content: 1.     Appendices 1, and 2, are not for publication on the basis that they contain information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the authority holding that information) as set out in paragraph 3 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended).   2.     Approves in principle the termination of the contract with Ardmore Construction Group Limited in accordance with the contractual provisions.   3.     Delegates authority to the Executive Director of Place, in consultation with the Director of Legal Services to complete the activities to enable the termination.    4.     Delegate to Executive Director of Place, in consultation with the Director of Legal Services the authority to instruct the LLP members to seek termination of Contract B and agree any other major decisions related to Contract B following the insolvency of the main building contractor, if necessary.
