Purpose:

Content: Agreed (1) the disbursement of the budget, totalling £17,800, as follows (a) Brighter Buchan Initiative £4,500 - being £250 per village and £500 for Peterhead, and that in the event of a group/village not able to take their allocation, that the money be transferred to the Area Manager to disburse appropriately within Buchan’s community groups, and (b) Area Committee Project Grant Fund £13,300 – that grant fund applications be encouraged up to £2,000 and that the closing date for applications be 31 July 2026 with applications to be determined by the Buchan Area Committee at their meeting on 15 September 2026, and that any leftover monies will be transferred to the Area Manager to disburse appropriately within Buchan’s community groups
