Content: To agree consultation option for the local Council Tax Support Scheme, 2027/28. Resolved: That the consultation to retain the current scheme, updated in line with the Department for Work and Pension (DWP) annual up-ratings for 2027/28, be approved. · Following a fundamental review, changes were implemented from April 2025 and further refined from April 2026. The current scheme provides an affordable level of support while recognising the ongoing impact of the cost of living on residents.
