Purpose:

Content: 1.             To approve acceptance of the £430,000 Department for Education grant to fully fund the drainage improvement schemes in Sunnyhill Primary School and Heathbrook Primary School, in accordance with their grant terms and conditions. 2.             To authorise the delivery of the Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) schemes at Sunnyhill and Heathbrook Primary Schools by the Council’s Capital Delivery Team by March 2026. 3.             Subject to sufficient budget, approval of the detailed design through the Council’s appropriate technical assurance processes, and scheme compliance with the Department for Education’s grant terms and conditions, authorise the construction of the schemes using the Council’s Highways Term Contractor, Ringway Infrastructure Services (RIS). 4.             To note the Equality Impact Assessment prepared for the purposes of this report (Appendix A).
