Purpose:

Content: The Committee considered the report of the Assistant Director of Housing Services, as contained on pages 19 to 42 of the Book of Reports, which briefed Members on the Stop Social Housing Stigma Campaign and sought approval to become a member of the campaign.   Questions and comments were raised in respect of: ·       Minimum benchmarks and requirements in terms of space ·       Required standards for properties ·       Participation from other Authorities in the scheme ·       Data on performance/perception area breakdown   The Assistant Director of Housing Services gave an undertaking to provide the Committee with the relevant information in respect of:   ·       Minimum benchmarks and requirements in terms of space ·       Data on performance/perception area breakdown     RESOLVED:   A.    That the report was noted.   B.    That Delegated Authority be given to the Assistant Director of Housing to take all necessary steps to ensure the Council becomes a member of the campaign support group "Stop Social Housing Stigma" and thereafter undertake the steps outlined in the report.
