Purpose:

Content: The recommendations were moved by Councillor Louise Gittins and seconded by Councillor Karen Shore.   RESOLVED:   That:   a)    a programme-wide approach for Year 1 of the MIF including budget allocations of £750,000 revenue for strategic projects under ‘Theme A: Accelerating Strategic Growth’; and £1,250,000 revenue and £2,500,000 capital for community projects under ‘Theme C: Celebrating Place’ be approved;   b)    the appraisal framework for the evaluation of component projects within the programmes which underpins project level recommendations be approved;   c)    the establishment of an Investment Committee including membership and the terms of reference for the Year 1 MIF to act as an advisory body be approved;   d)    authority to the Chief Executive in consultation with the Deputy Chair of the CWCA Board, to make a final decision on component project awards, taking account of any recommendations from the Investment Committee be delegated;   e)    proportionate scrutiny, call in and claims processes for MIF Year 1 projects, with resource allocated to support effective programme management be approved.
