Purpose:

Content: The recommendations were moved by Councillor Louise Gittins and seconded by Councillor Hans Mundry.   RESOLVED:   That:   a)    the CWCA Business Plan for 2026–27 be approved;   b)    the updated CWCA budget for 2026-27 be approved;    c)    the procurement of an Independent Economic Review, with a cost of £400k (£267k in 2026/27) reporting back in the Spring of 2027 be approved;   d)    expenditure of £35k to develop Cheshire and Warrington’s engagement with India for trade and investment opportunities and support participation in the Great North mission be approved.
