Purpose:

Content: 1.     Agree receipt and expenditure of any additional funding allocated by Homes England to further develop the Town Centre Masterplan and specific sites within the plan.   2.     Agree that submission of a business case for funding from Home England to bring forward development site to the east of Gravesend Town Centre be delegated to the Director (Communities & Inclusive Growth); in consultation with the Leader, the Director (Corporate Services) (in the role of S151 officer) and the Monitoring Officer.   3.     Agree to expenditure of up to £1,500,000 towards the purchase of land to the east of Gravesend Town Centre.   4.     Agree funding of up to £500,000 to support a proposed partnership to bring forward housing and a health hub at site/s in Bath Street.   5.     That delegated authority be given to the Director (Communities & Inclusive Growth); in consultation with the Leader, the Director (Corporate Services) (in the role of S151officer) and the Monitoring Officer, to take all necessary practical, financial and legal actions required to deliver the purchases outlined above.
