Content: RESOLVED:   That the Cabinet:   1)    Accept the single tender from Rubrik via their partner Cisilion Ltd via the SBS Digital Workplace Solutions Framework for the provision of Rubrik Data Protection and Cyber Recovery suites across On-Premise, Cloud (Microsoft Azure), M365, and Account Identity infrastructure to deliver NCSC Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF) aligned cyber recovery capability for a 3 year period from 13th July 2026 to 12th July 2029 and at the value of £1,123,454.   2)    Delegates any further decisions required to implement this to the Chief Operating Officer, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Corporate Services, Digital & Transformation.   Reasons for decision   The Cabinet Member for Corporate Services, Transformation & Digital introduced a report and recommendations, which Cabinet agreed, to award a contract in a modern data protection and cyber recovery solution. The Cabinet Member advised this would strengthen the Council’s digital resilience, ensure best practice and protect essential services.   Alternative options considered and rejected   The alternatives were rejected as extending existing systems would not address critical cyber recovery gaps or risks, a full procurement would have caused delay and uncertain outcomes, and doing nothing would have left the Council exposed to significant financial, operational and compliance risks.   Relevant Committee Corporate Resources & Infrastructure Expiry date for any scrutiny call-in / date decision can be implemented (if no call-in) Cabinet’s decisions on this matter can be called in by a majority of the Committee by 5pm, Friday 3 July 2026.
