Purpose:

Content: RESOLVED that:   1)    The proposal to create a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) to hold and lease housing to homeless households is no longer taken forward.   2)    The 150 properties to be purchased through the current approved capital budget be held within the General Fund and used as temporary accommodation.   3)    Delegated authority be given to the Executive Director of Place in consultation with the Section 151 Officer and the relevant Portfolio Holder to purchase the 150 properties.
