Content: This report will seek approval to appoint a contractor for the provision of traffic signal support services across approximately 1,000 junctions and controlled crossings across a number of authority boundaries in the North East region. This contract includes the installation and upgrade of traffic control infrastructure. Award traffic signals installation support contract to Yunex Traffic for 2 years plus 2 x 12-month options to extend up to a maximum value of £1.8m, including a 30% contingency. Authorise Chief Finance Officer and Assistant Director Law and Governance to complete the necessary paperwork.
