Purpose:

Content: Consideration was given to the Overview and Scrutiny Committee’s (OSC) Work Programme. Members were reminded that any Councillor could make a request for an item to be placed onto the Council’s Scrutiny Committee Work Programme.   Recommendations of the Local Enforcement Plan Task and Finish Group was added to the 12 October 2026 meeting.   It was confirmed that progress on Housing targets could be given more focus in the Performance Report to OSC. The Head of Corporate, Strategic and Neighbourhood Services would be requested to include this in the next report.   The Council’s land supply position was a major risk, and an update could be included in the State of the District reported to the OSC in November.   RESOLVED: That:   1)     the Work Programme attached at Appendix A, as amended, be agreed; and   2)     the Head of Corporate, Strategic and Neighbourhood Services be requested to include a more focused report on Housing targets within the next quarterly Performance Report to the Overview and Scrutiny Committee.
