Content: To consider and approve the recommendations of the report for the renewal of Cabinet Liaison Panels and membership. It was RESOLVED that the Cabinet APPROVED:   a)    the renewal of the Grants and Awards Liaison Panel for 2026/27; and b)    the Terms of Reference for the Grants and Awards Liaison Panel for 2026/27 as attached at Appendix 1 of the report.   Reasons for the Decision This report was submitted to the Cabinet to renew the Grants and Awards Cabinet Liaison Panel and agree its terms of reference and membership for 2026/27.   Alternative Options Considered   That the Cabinet could decide to not reappoint the Grants and Awards Panel for the forthcoming year, however this option is not considered to be an appropriate course of action. The Grants and Awards Liaison Panel operates well in its current form, providing cross party and cross district representation and advice to the Portfolio Holder on award of grant funding.
