Content: RESOLVED that Cabinet:- · agree, in principle, for the Council to progress towards entering into a lease arrangement for Alnwick Bus Station to enable delivery of the improvement scheme; · delegate authority to the Executive Director for Place and Regeneration to: · negotiate and enter into lease arrangements (and any associated agreements) once terms are satisfactorily agreed; and · finalise all necessary legal and commercial arrangements required to enable delivery of the scheme; and · note that: · full financial implications are not yet fully quantified and will be subject to appraisal prior to entering into any binding agreements; · the Council will seek to manage ongoing revenue costs associated with the lease and operation of the facility and, where reasonably practicable, recover these through operator charging and within existing budgets; and · any material financial implications arising from final lease terms beyond those set out in this report will be subject to further Cabinet approval.
