Content: RESOLVED that in light of the prescribed changes set out in the statutory proposals published on 9 April 2026 (attached at Appendix 1a-c) and the information provided in the report, and in accordance with the Statutory Guidance from the Department for Education “Making significant changes (‘prescribed alterations’) to maintained schools Statutory guidance for proposers and decision makers August 2025” (attached at Appendix 3), Cabinet approve the establishment of SEND Units at Cambois Primary, Newsham Primary School and Seaton Sluice First School by formalising (making permanent) the current Special Support Bases at those sites effective immediately following such decision.
