Purpose: This report presents the Quarter 4 and Annual Corporate Performance Report 2025/26, setting out the Council’s progress in delivering the Council Plan 2024-2027.
Content: Reasons for Recommendations The Council’s Corporate Performance Report enabled the Council to track progress in delivering the strategic outcomes in the Council Plan, improve services through identifying poor performance and sharing good practice, celebrate the Councils achievements and where things were going well and provide a strong evidence base for improved decision making and the efficient use of resources. Through identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, the Corporate Performance Report was also a key component in the Councils journey to becoming an outstanding organisation. Alternative Options Considered There were no alternative options to consider. Resolved:- (1) that the progress in delivering the Council Plan 2024-2027 is noted and approval is given to the 2025/26 Quarter 4 and Annual monitoring report. (2) that approval is given to the changes to the Corporate Performance Indicators outlined in Appendix A.
