Purpose: This decision relates to specific delegation agreed at the meetings of South Cambridgeshire District Council Cabinet and Cambridge City Cabinet on 21 July 2026. Agenda for Cabinet on Tuesday, 21 July 2026, 5.30 p.m.   The Cabinets agreed that any subsequent material amendments to be made to the plan prior to consultation commencing will be approved by the Lead Member for Planning and Transport in Cambridge City Council and Lead Cabinet Member for Planning at South Cambridgeshire District Council.   This decision seeks approval for a number of amendments to the Proposed Submission Local Plan (appendix A to the cabinet report), in particular to: ·       Infrastructure I/CV Cycle and Vehicle Parking ·       Edge of Cambridge – Policy S/CBC Cambridge Biomedical Campus   Changes are shown in the schedule attached as appendix 1 to this decision. They respond to issues raised in the scrutiny committees and then subsequently the cabinet meetings.  The change to the Cambridge Biomedical Campus also seeks to clarify the implementation process.
