Content: 1.      That publication of the Wolverhampton Plan Scoping Consultation document attached as Appendix 1 to the report be approved for consultation during summer 2026, in accordance with the Wolverhampton Plan Timetable be approved.   2.      That authority be delegated to the Leader of the Council: Thriving City in consultation with the Executive Director of City Economy to make any necessary minor amendments to the Scoping Consultation document prior to commencement of the consultation process.   3.      That the launch of a “Call for Sites” for the Wolverhampton Plan during summer 2026 be approved.   4.      That publication of the Wolverhampton Green Belt Study as technical evidence to support the Scoping Consultation and “Call for Sites” exercise be approved.   5.      That authority be delegated to the Leader of the Council: Thriving City in consultation with the Executive Director of City Economy to approve the formal commencement of Plan-making on the Wolverhampton Plan by 30 October 2026.   6.      That it be agreed to receive a further report summarising responses to the Scoping Consultation and seeking approval for a Proposed Plan Content and Evidence document for consultation in summer 2027, in line with the Wolverhampton Plan Timetable.
