Purpose: To seek Cabinet approval for the Maintenance Strategy within Strategic Asset Management and Property Services. The strategy defines a clear approach to maintaining the Council’s property portfolio in a cost-effective, compliant, and sustainable way, acting as an appendix and delivery vehicle for the Corporate Asset Management Plan. It sets out key priorities, performance management and planned actions to ensure assets remain safe, operational, and aligned with corporate objectives.

It sets out key priorities, performance management and planned actions to ensure assets remain safe, operational, and aligned with corporate objectives.   Cllr Colin Hay sought Cabinet approval to approve and adopt the Property Maintenance Strategy.   Having considered all of the information, Cabinet noted the report and RESOLVED to:     1.              Approve and adopts the Property Maintenance Strategy 2.              Delegate authority to the Assistant Director of Asset Management and Property Services (AMPS) to  implement the Strategy.
