Purpose: Arrow Valley Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project (NSIP) Technical Support.

Content: Arrow Valley Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project (NSIP) Technical Support. Award contract to provide technical support to Iceni Projects Ltd.   To allow necessary resources to be secured to enable the Council to engage appropriately with the Arrow Valley NSIP proposal on which we are a statutory consultee.   To accept submission from Iceni Projects Ltd and award contract subject to the Council’s standard terms and conditions.  This is the favoured approach for the reasons set out in e-mail of 17th July.   To accept submission from alternate provider and award contract subject to the Council’s standard terms and conditions.  This not favoured approach for the reasons set out in e-mail of 17th July.   To not enter into a contract – not favoured as capacity is much needed, budget in place and this would not put in place the capacity required to deal with the NSIP proposal.  No available staff have the necessary specialist skills and capacity to undertake the role.   4.    To openly tender for the work.  Rejected due to time constraints.
