It will set a clear path forward for the Council’s 2027-28 budget setting process and a framework for this to operate within. For the reasons set out in the report and its appendices, the Executive Mayor and Cabinet AGREED to: 2.1 Agree the financial strategy as set out throughout the report. 2.2 Note the proposed budget setting timetable set out in Appendix D. 2.3 Agree the 2026/27 inter-directorate budget movements (virement) as set out in paragraph 13.4 and Table Seven. 2.4 Note the risks associated with delivery of the Transformation programme as set out at paragraphs 13.3 to 13.9 and the reduction to the savings target of £4.7m for future years for this programme.
