Purpose: Investigations have shown that there is a demand for on street parking outside The Meadows Primary School at school drop off/pick up times. To promote more balance between the needs of local residents and pedestrian safety it is proposed to revoke sections of the existing No Waiting Monday Friday 8-9.30am and 2-4.30pm, change the existing times on the mandatory school keep clears and part time restrictions to Monday – Friday 8.00-9.30am and 3-4.30pm. It is also proposed to introduce no waiting at any time outside properties 242-246, Calder Road. Therefore, it is proposed to prohibit waiting as set out on the plans to the Order.
