Content: The Council is the sole trustee of Robertsbridge Youth Club (Charity Number 305294).  The Lead Member for Resources and Climate Change will consider options related to the ongoing management arrangements for the Trust. 5.1       The Lead Member considered a report by the Chief Operating Officer together with exempt information in a later agenda item.   DECISIONS   5.2       The Lead Member RESOLVED to:   1) approve the Council transferring the Charitable Trust, along with all assets held by the Trust, to Salehurst and Robertsbridge Parish Council; and   2) delegate authority to the Chief Operating Officer to agree the terms of the transfer arrangements and to carry out all actions necessary to give effect to the recommendations in the report.   REASONS   5.3       It is considered that there is no ongoing operational use of the youth centre and that East Sussex County Council is no longer an appropriate Trustee for the Trust.In the event that the transfer of the Trust to the Salehurst and Robertsbridge Parish Council cannot be concluded, the matter will be brought back to the Lead Member for consideration at a later date.   5.4       Delegation of authority to the Chief Operating Officer to agree the terms of the transfer arrangements and to take any actions necessary to give effect to the recommendations in the report, will facilitate the effective transfer of the Trust.
