Purpose:

Content: The Scrutiny Committee Corporate and Strategic considered the Housing Revenue Account Revenue and Capital Budget Monitoring Report for Quarter 1 and RESOLVED to support the recommendations as approved by the Executive on 5 August. That Executive:   ·         Noted the Housing Revenue Account forecast overspend of £0.273m (0.44% of gross income budget) for 2026/27 and the impact on the HRA General Reserve of this overspend should management action unsuccessfully return expenditure to the approved budget.   ·         Noted that the service will identify areas to reduce expenditure and seek to balance the budget throughout the year.    ·         Noted the forecast outturn position of the Capital Programme of £67.405m for 2026/27 against an original budget of £87.543m.
