Content: This report presented the revised Local Code of Governance and Annual Governance Statement (AGS) 2025-2026. The report sets out their significance, key components, and how they are implemented within the local government framework and seeks approval of both documents.   Cllr Rigby MOVED and Cllr Sankey SECONDED the recommendation in the report.   A vote was taken by a show of hands and Members RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY:   R.1     The Annual Governance Statement 2025-2026 as attached in Appendix A, is approved and signed by the Chief Executive and Leader of the Council and is approved and adopted by this Committee.   R.2     That the committee approves and adopts the Local Code of Corporate Governance as set out in Appendix B.
