Content: Proposal Description: Item 7: Construction of 3 houses and garages, following demolition of existing house (Phased development including self-build)           Councillor Rutter declared an interest, as stated above. To prevent the possibility of any appearance of bias on this application due to ongoing issues with the developer, she stated that she would take no part in the determination of the application and left the meeting for the consideration of the item taking no part in the discussion or vote thereon.   The Vice-Chairperson, Councillor Williams took the Chair for the consideration of this application.   During public participation, Andy Tidby and Alexis Eyre spoke in objection to the application and Jason Murphy spoke in support of the application and answered Members’ questions thereon.   The Committee proceeded to ask questions and debate the application.   RESOLVED:   The committee agreed to grant permission for the reasons and subject to the conditions and informatives set out in the Report, subject to an additional condition that the detached garages remain ancillary to their respective dwelling to prevent further expansion.
