Purpose: The Cabinet Member will consider the quarterly write-off report for Council Tax, NNDR and other sundry debt write-offs.

Content: The Cabinet Member will consider the quarterly write-off report for Council Tax, NNDR and other sundry debt write-offs. Summary of Decision: The Cabinet Member for Value for Money and Finance has taken the decision to approve for write-off the debts over £100k as set out in Section 5 of the report and the exempt appendix; and to delegate Authority to the Director of Law the amounts shown in paragraph 6.4 of the report under £100,000.   Reason for Decision: The recommendation to write-off the amounts detailed in this report is proposed as all other avenues available to the Council for the recovery of these debts have been exhausted, including, where appropriate, the issue of court and distress proceedings.
