Purpose:

Content: Decision RESOLVED   To increase the Fly-tipping & Waste Crime Penalty Notices (FPNs) to the statutory maximums.   Reason for the decision:   The recommendations are intended to deter the perpetrating of environmental waste crime, maintain a proportionate and effective enforcement framework for lower-level environmental offences, support consistency in the Council's approach, avoid creating unnecessary incentives for cases to proceed to court.
