Purpose:
Content: RESOLVED Cabinet resolved unanimously to: a) Supports the WGC BID renewal proposal for 2027–2032, having considered the draft Business Plan, baseline agreements, BID boundary and levy criteria, and agrees that there is no conflict with any adopted council policy. b) Delegates authority to the Executive Director (Finance and Transformation) to cast a YES vote in the BID renewal ballot on behalf of the council. c) Notes that the council will run the ballot in accordance with the Business Improvement Districts (England) Regulations 2004 and that the Returning Officer will be confirmed by Electoral Services d) Note that if the ballot is successful, the council will continue to act as the billing authority for the BID levy. e) Delegates authority, subject to a majority YES vote, to enter into the operating agreement and agree the charges for billing and recovery with the BID Company, to the Executive Director (Finance and Transformation).
