Purpose: A decision regarding the future of third sector arrangements.

Content: That the Deputy Leader, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Social Advancement and the Pathway Bond:   a)    Agrees that the existing Third Sector Investment Fund Grants which expire on 30 September 2026 be extended to 31 March 2027.   b)    Agree in principle to a new community investment approach using up to £1m of annual funding each year for three years from 1st April 2027, from Neighbourhood Community Infrastructure Levy. Note that any substantive changes to the Council’s approach to future schemes will be subject to the appropriate decision?making processes and the Council’s medium-term financial position at that time, and that a separate decision on the use of up to £3m of Public Health grant investment will be taken in due course.
