Purpose: To present the Quarter 1 2026/27 forecast outturn position for the Council's General Fund revenue budget and capital programme, highlighting any significant variances and emerging financial pressures.

Content: a) To note that the Revenue forecast position is a £440k overspend as of the end of June 2026; and b) Note the Capital Outturn position of £2.16m for the same time period. c) Allocate the remaining Executive Priority Reserve funding available in 2026/27 as follows; £65,000 for air quality action plan implementation, £40,000 additional contribution to East Herts Citizens Advice Service, £30,000 for improvements to the council’s Customer Services and £10,000 for Rye Mead Nature Reserve business case development.
