Purpose: Authorisation to Release Funds from the Communities Spark Fund - August 2026

Content: Authorisation to Release Funds from the Communities Spark Fund - August 2026 That the following 4 Spark Fund grant awards totalling £2000 are approved:   Hockham History Group £500 – To support the development of a local heritage group by bringing together residents with an interest in Hockham's history, supporting a heritage exhibition at Hockham Church on 9th-11th October by purchasing display materials to help share and preserve historical information for future research and community events.   Yaxham Village Hall YVAA £500 – To continue supporting local residents following the end of the Pop-Up Pantry service and while consulting with residents about what activities and sessions would be most beneficial for the community going forward.   Swanton Morley Village Hall Trust £500 – To continue supporting residents following the end of the Pop-Up Pantry service. We are looking to run further drop-in sessions at the village hall that will encourage more members of the public to attend on different days. We would like to provide further food and social activities leading into the autumn/winter months.   Narborough & Narford Community Centre £500 - We plan to run a regular Coffee Morning at the Community Centre, led by local volunteers following the end of the Pop-Up Pantry service. The sessions will provide a friendly and welcoming space where residents can meet, socialise, access information, and feel connected to their community.   To enhance existing provision, which improves community health and wellbeing and aligns to the Inspiring Communities Corporate Plan priorities. These activities aren’t currently available in the local area or easily accessible in a nearby Ward ·         To grant the awards ·         Not to grant the awards ·         Award different amounts
