Content: The purpose of the report is to recommend that Cabinet approves the introduction of a protocol to allow members of the public to ask questions at meetings of Cabinet. (a)      That the introduction of the Protocol for Questions from Members of the Public at Cabinet, attached at Appendix 1 be approved.   (b)      That the protocol be published on the Council’s website, together with any associated application form and guidance.   (c)      That the Head of Law and Governance incorporate the protocol into the Council’s Constitution and, in consultation with the Leader, be authorised to make any minor or consequential amendments required to implement and operate the protocol effectively.
