Purpose: Approve the contract award for the film location services contract 2026-30

Content: Approve the contract award for the film location services contract 2026-30 1.  That the award of a Film Location Services contract to FilmFixer Ltd. for the period of 36 months from 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2029 with an option to extend the contract by a further 12 months, be approved.    2.  That it be noted that the contract will be based on an income share model as detailed in point 100 - 102 of the report at no cost to the council. The anticipated turnover for the contract to the council is £3.92 million over the full duration of the contract including the optional 12-month extension. The net contract value, representing the profit shared with the council’s Culture team, over the same period is estimated to be £1.23m or £308,000 average per annum.
