Purpose: To seek approval for the advertisement and implementation of a Permanent Traffic Regulation Order:   THE BOROUGH OF BLACKPOOL (VARIOUS ROADS) (CONSOLIDATION OF WAITING RESTRICTIONS, ON STREET PARKING PLACES, RESIDENTS’ PARKING PLACES AND TAXI STANDS) (AMENDMENT No 12) ORDER 2026 (“the Amendment No 12 Order”).  

Content: To seek approval for the advertisement and implementation of a Permanent Traffic Regulation Order:   THE BOROUGH OF BLACKPOOL (VARIOUS ROADS) (CONSOLIDATION OF WAITING RESTRICTIONS, ON STREET PARKING PLACES, RESIDENTS’ PARKING PLACES AND TAXI STANDS) (AMENDMENT No 12) ORDER 2026 (“the Amendment No 12 Order”).   To authorise the statutory consultation and advertisement of the Council’s intention to make a Traffic Regulation Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to introduce or amend parking restrictions on various roads throughout Blackpool, as detailed within the background information and appendices and summarised below: ·       No Waiting at Any Time restrictions on various roads; ·       Disabled parking places, Monday to Saturday, 8.00am to 6.00pm, on Central Drive; ·       Limited Waiting parking place, Monday to Saturday, 8.00am to 6.00pm, on Central Drive; and ·       Limited Waiting parking place, 9.00am to 11.00pm, on Rutherford Place, with a maximum stay of 1 hour and no return within 2 hours.   If no objections are received, or if objections received are subsequently withdrawn, to authorise the Head of Legal Services to make the Traffic Regulation Order.
