Purpose:

Content: WBC Cabinet Member for Finance & Resources:   1.    That  a newly-created ‘Adur & Worthing Councils Advertising Policy’ be approved for issue for issue. This will be shared and upheld and included in any service level agreement document, with any commercial operator of advertising who wishes to use Council owned vehicles or land.   2.    That the officer time needed to set up the policy and delegate authority to the Service Director for Place & Economy be approved, in consultation with the Cabinet Members for Finance & Resources, to enter into subsequent contracts or account management with providers of fully-managed advertising services.     WBC Cabinet Member for Finance & Resources:   1.    That  a newly-created ‘Adur & Worthing Councils Advertising Policy’ be approved for issue for issue. The Councils need to maximise income to improve their financial position and this policy will enable the use of assets and land to develop advertising opportunities.   ADC Cabinet Member for Finance & Resources: I approve the recommendations. This policy will make it possible to use Councils assets and land to develop advertising opportunities and generate extra income.
