Purpose: To seek Cabinet’s decision on the future management of the DQ’s tennis facilities

Content: To seek Cabinet’s decision on the future management of the DQ’s tennis facilities (Key Decision):   1.    To agree the proposed long-term lease arrangement with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) for the Devonshire Quarter assets not currently subject to existing agreements (as set out in report paragraph 1.6).   2.    To delegate authority to the Director of Tourism and Place, in consultation with the Chief Finance Officer, the Leader and Cabinet Member for Tourism and Place, following liaison with the Strategic Property Board, to progress the next phase of negotiations with the LTA and to finalise the detailed lease and associated arrangements, including the approval and implementation of all processes and procedures, and authorising the execution of all necessary documentation.
