To confirm acceptance of the Bus Transition Fund offered by Welsh Government to provide immediate financial support to bus operators in Carmarthenshire and other Local Authorities in the South West Wales Region, on the basis that further dialogue will be required with Welsh Government relating to the impacts. The Deputy Minister for Climate Change has written to all local authorities requesting that they provide confirmation by 26th June that revised plans relating to bus services across the region, including Carmarthenshire, have been considered and agreed. The decision is made under general delegated powers due to the time constraints that make it impractical to convene a meeting of the Cabinet.
