Purpose: Decision implemented persuant to an authorisation from the Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Finance and Change on 24 November 2023: Microsoft License Renewal. Following the council’s participation in the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Technology Products & Associated Services RM6068 – Lot 3 Software and Associated Services Framework via an aggregated call-off competition for the supply of: · Microsoft cloud services; · Microsoft software licences; · Software assurance services; and · Unified support services and having consulted with Cllr Lynden Stowe, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Finance and Change in accordance with the Cabinet Member decision dated 24 November 2023:
Content: To award a contract for the supply of the said licence and services to the preferred tenderer, namely, Trustmarque Solutions Ltd. The proposed contract shall continue for a period of 3 years from 1 April 2024. In coming to this decision, the Director of Digital and People Services gave due and full regard to the requirements of the Public Sector Equality Duty contained in section 149 of the Equality Act 2010 (“the Act”) by reference to the law itself. Having fully considered all the available information, the Director of Digital and People Services decided to reject any alternative options and take the recommended decision for the reasons set out in the published decision report.
