Purpose:

Content: Councillor Cornish, as Opposition Leader in attendance had no comment on the item.   Simon Hughes, Director People and Commercial Services introduced the report noting that it is part of a programme to bring buildings into use for temporary accommodation within the District, in this case bringing into use 5 more units. He noted that it is an affordable way to manage the significant increase of homelessness in District and allows residents accommodation within their community.   Cabinet agreed to move to item 8.
